01 What is Anka Academy?

Anka Academy provides live online Maths, English and 11+ tutoring for primary pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 in London and across the UK.

12 How is my child’s progress tracked after sessions?

We use a transparent, data-informed approach to support continuous academic growth:

  • Diagnostic assessment: a low-pressure starting point identifies knowledge gaps and individual learning needs.
  • Continuous feedback: session notes keep parents informed and help us adjust goals as the pupil progresses.
  • Secure profiles: student information and progress records are kept within protected learner profiles.

06 / Tutors & safeguarding

Expert teaching, safely delivered.

16How do you hire and vet your online tutors?

Tutors submit their CVs and professional qualifications before completing a rigorous face-to-face interview. Our team assesses subject knowledge, pedagogy and empathy to ensure every successful candidate meets Anka Academy’s standards.

17What safeguarding checks do you perform?

Student safety is our priority. Every successful UK-based tutor must pass an Enhanced DBS check, and professional references are verified before they are permitted to teach.
